Torreluca is an old watchtower partially restored within a medieval village less than 10km from Todi. The tower is surrounded by matchless natural beauty. It overlooks the Forello Gorges, the most relevant area of the Tiber River Park. Its unique scenery has a timeless quality, revealing the river’s twist and turns and its associated Mediterranean scrublands. This is an area of relevant cave complexes formed by the river out of the 132 m. (430ft) limestone cliffs. This is an area that has produced a wealth of Neolithic and Bronze Age findings.
Features
The Tower, which contains a total of 150m² (1.615 ft²), is on four floors and was originally connected by an internal wooden stairway. A project in waiting for plans to realize a vaulted cellar with a fireplace on the ground floor; on the first floor there will be a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a storage space; the second and the third floor will have every two bedrooms and a bathroom.
