Il Casale del Grillo

Casale del Grillo is a charming agritourism/receptive structure immersed in the green Umbrian countryside. It is located in the municipality of Marsciano in a quiet, and well-connected place.

It consists of a 15th-century main farmhouse and a large, fully restored outbuilding, a large outdoor courtyard with two large warehouses, a playground, and 3 hectares of farmland.

Features

The main farmhouse is an imposing structure (650 sq.m.) arranged on two levels:

• A ground floor used for catering consisting of a bar, a restaurant hall seating 70 people, a professional kitchen with a fireplace and wood-burning oven and changing rooms for staff, warehouses and two bathrooms
• On the second floor, on the other hand, are 6 spacious bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms and important common areas: a large living room with a fireplace reserved for guests, a private dining room and a double kitchen with a pantry.

The annex, on the other hand, is a square-plan structure (120 sq.m.) distributed on one floor:

• It consists of three independent rooms all with en-suite bathrooms
• All rooms have private outdoor space

Exterior

The outdoor courtyard, introduced by a private road, is large and very articulated. First, it presents a large area serving the restaurant, then the children’s play area, the large parking lot, and finally the area reserved for the swimming pool (not yet built), for a total of 10,000 sq.m. Three additional outbuildings of different sizes are located here.

Additional 3 hectares of agricultural land, completely flat, complete the property, and in case of interest, there is the possibility of purchasing additional land up to a maximum of 12 hectares in total.

Uses and destinations

Casale del Grillo is an ideal structure to carry out a dual activity: tourism/reception and catering. It currently has 9 rooms for 22 beds and can accommodate up to 12. It also has a splendid restaurant hall for 70 covers, a professional kitchen of important dimensions and an outdoor space for an additional 6o covers.

Distances

Casale del Grillo is located in the heart of Umbria. It is close to Marsciano, which is only a few km away, and close to the main Umbrian towns. Todi is only 15 km away, Perugia 20 km, Assisi 25 km, Umbria International Airport 20 minutes. Rome and its airports are an hour and a half away.
